Founded in 1947 by Guido de Majo, DE MAJO Illuminazione emerged in the post-war era as a new voice in Venetian glass artistry. After leaving his native Naples for the Lagoon, de Majo established his first glassworks on the island of Murano—laying the foundation for what would become a defining name in the evolution of Murano’s iconic glassmaking tradition.
