Lake Lighting

Some of the great spaces we have had the pleasure to light include boats.

So when designer Andrew Ward invited our lighting and dimming control specialist, Mike Nooreini, to work on client Cathy Angelopoulos’ boat re-fab,  Mike was all too eager to help on this unique space!

Mike provided a general lighting plan that included our square recessed LEDs from Signature; the decorative lighting choice of the UXI pendent from Arturo Alvarez – which was not only the right fit for over the dining table in the galley, it was uniquely apropos being made of marine grade wood, and the master bedroom was outfitted with two Verve wall sconces from Swarovski ~ a glamorous spark that Cathy loved.

Mike also incorporated a control system for all of the lighting on the boat using the sleek and modern style Grafik T dimmers from Lutron. With only a single touch or slide of the finger on the light bar, various light levels can be achieved setting the mood for the family’s relaxing nights out on the lake.
